The Box Office Ticketing & Revenue Specialist is responsible for assisting with high-level ticket sales including initial contact with VIP Packages to weekly revenue sales reporting, as required. The Ticketing & Revenue Specialist will also be responsible for assisting in the implementation of any new seating manifests, seating charts or theatre configurations. The Ticketing & Revenue Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance and technical support of all ticketed events for both the Avalon and OLG Stage Theatres, ensuring accuracy and allowing for a continuance of operation year round. The job involves: 

  • Liaise between Artist Management & Tour VIP Representatives to build shows in Ticketmaster Event Management through Spec Sheets and Platinum Submissions in advance of concert announce  

  • Executes all components of ticketing On-sales, all Presales, Platinum sales, VIP package sales  

  • Assists in the monitoring and reporting of sales trends on a daily basis  

  • Execute adjustments to inventory and dynamic pricing modules 

  • Alter floorplans, update seat configurations and manipulate inventory within Ticketmaster HOST/TOR  

  • Assist with onboarding and educating staff on the latest ticketing software.  

  • Responsible for managing, maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting any technical discrepancies with ticket selling, printing and ticket scanning hardware / software.  

  • Responsible for weekly/biweekly review of all Avalon and OLG entertainment on Ticketmaster.ca.  

  • Ensure compliance with Ticketmaster Contract at all times.  

  • Investigate and find resolution for challenging customer service ticketing situations in a timely manner.  

  •  Work collaboratively with Database and Accounting to ensure accuracy in revenue and account reporting 

  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, predominately afternoon and evening shifts depending on show activity 

 

The ideal candidate has: 

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office environment, preferably in customer/client support roles 

  • Minimum of 2 years of ticketing expertise with software knowledge of Ticketmaster Event Manager, HOST – TMWinn99, TM1 Events, TM1 Entry, TM1 Reports, TM1 Sales and Pricemaster Events 

  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities  

  • Stong verbal and written communication skills 

  • A passion for live events and strong desire to assist in creating the ultimate experience 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Supervisory experience preferably in a high-volume entertainment environment 

  • High level organization and time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks 

  • Ability to maintain and conduct oneself with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
