Corporate Accountant

$21.48 per hour

The job involves:

• Analyzing and maintaining General Ledger accounts
• Preparing Journal entries
• Preparation of monthly internal actual vs budget variance reports
• Providing information and analysis as requested
• Prepare account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Assist with ad hoc reporting for year end and quarter end

• Working independently and in a team environment collaborating with other departments to determine the accuracy of data
• Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation

• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

• College or university education with some accounting or business courses
• Minimum 1 year accounting experience
• Excellent data entry, analytical and problem solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills, organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Financial Reporting Systems
