The job involves:

• Maintenance, new installations and retrofits for plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Ensuring the completion of all “on-demand” work orders and “preventative maintenance” work orders
• Inspecting and certifying work to ensure compliance with project specifications and municipal building codes.
• Working with external contractors by providing escorts, assistance and direction
• Excellent guest service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with guests
• Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
• Working independently and in a team environment
• Flexible to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

• Minimum 5 years progressive Plumbing experience
• Valid Certificate of Qualifications for Plumbing- 306A ticket
• Gas or steam fitter license
• Previous experience in the hospitality and/or service industry
• Skills in all aspects of general construction and all trades
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge and experience with Victaulic rolled groove pipe and fittings an asset
• Knowledge and experience with the Victaulic press fit piping system and asset
• Must hold a class G Driver’s License

• First Aid/CPR certificate and Fire extinguishing handling an asset
